Korody
A native Californian, Marc Korodys professional career spans nearly
two decades. During this time he has become proficient in almost every
aspect of business development. As a small business owner himself, Mr.
Korody understands the need for efficient and affordable office administration
and how to promote and secure current business goals.
Early on, Marc Korody focused on combining his technical communication
education with practical business and marketing training. Starting as
an Account Executive with Discover Card Services, Inc. in 1985, he managed
complex merchant accounts and researched current market analyses. Using
this knowledge, Mr. Korody implemented focused solicitation and training
campaigns to further Discover Cards goals, and later as Territory
Manager, continued to develop effective management skills to promote positive
business results.
Later at TRW, Inc., Marc Korody expanded his business skills to include
banking, bankcard issues, contract negotiation, retail and mortgage lending,
and account management. As a National and Senior Account Executive he
oversaw the management of all aspects of secure customer accounts, developed
customized proposals for clients, negotiated contracts to meet client
specifications, integrated TRW business applications into existing client
systems, provided client credit counseling regarding credit policy, risk,
and collection procedures. In addition, Mr. Korody continued to expand
his knowledge of human resources issues through employee training programs
and dispute resolution. At this point in his career, he achieved an unprecedented
portfolio growth rate of zero to 3.5 million in just over two years and
met 141% (over one million) of targeted client base growth rate.
Later as Sales Supervisor for JCB International, Marc Korody expanded
his business and human resources knowledge base managing merchant recruitment
sales staff. He used his extensive background to achieve a remarkable
270% increase in merchant account recruitment, and an 80% activation ratio.
To expand his technical knowledge base of computer hardware and software
needs of small businesses and end-user clients, Mr. Korody moved to Charles
Schwab & Co. As a Registered Technical Support Representative, he
successfully resolved technical client issues while supporting 150 internal
users, trained non-technically trained clients on both Windows and DOS,
and acted as a key contact for high priority clients.
For the past 11 years, Marc Korody has been using his intimate knowledge
of business account management, sales, marketing issues, training, personnel
management, and technical know-how to help other small businesses succeed.
His current list of available services include design and implementation
of office policy, human resources and payroll implementation and resolution,
credit/collection procedures, accounts receivable/accounts payable, restructuring
office management procedures to advance business plans and assure proper
administration, and creating and maintaining practical and applicable
office computer systems including Novell, Windows, and DOS. Mr. Korody
also offers in-house training on HR issues, and management skills. As
of this date, he has participated in over a dozen professional seminars
covering issues from Legal Aspects of Hiring and Firing to Successful
Sales Management to assure that his knowledge stays current and vital
to issues relevant to small businesses.
Currently, Marc Korodys client portfolio includes 25 small businesses
ranging in size from two to twenty plus employees. The diversity of the
businesses ranges from dental offices to investment and property management.
Each of Mr. Korodys clients, benefits through the implementation
of upgraded business plans and best business practices, have
realized an increase in profits in addition to putting in safeguards to
protect themselves from potential losses.
